I make things, often based on the figurative form, sometimes not. The transformation of a substance into an object with a personality is an endless fascination to me.
I gather my ideas by being a people watcher, a daydreamer, and a contemplator. Occasionally I photograph and write about things that amuse, distract or in some way affect me.
I graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2010 and have since had my own studio practice in London where I make work for commission and exhibition. I am currently completing my PhD by practice at The University for the Creative Arts. I also work as sculpture technician at the Royal Academy Schools, where I support students in their 3D work and ceramics
I also run regular workshops at my studio – Studio1Ceramics at Florentia Clothing Village in Haringey
